Define and implement the engineering strategy that aligns with Meniga's business goals and product roadmap. Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable and reliable software solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards. Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to prioritize engineering initiatives and allocate resources effectively. Drive the adoption of modern development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices, to enhance productivity and delivery speed. Establish performance metrics and KPIs to measure the success of engineering projects and team performance. Ensure the security, quality, and maintainability of the codebase through rigorous code reviews and testing processes. Manage relationships with external partners and vendors to integrate third-party services and technologies into our products. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on Meniga's offerings. Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring alignment on project goals and timelines. Participate in recruitment efforts to attract top engineering talent, conducting interviews and assessments as needed. Represent Meniga at industry events and conferences, showcasing our engineering capabilities and innovations. Requirements Proven experience in a leadership role within an engineering team, with a minimum of 5 years in software development. Strong background in software engineering principles, design patterns, and architecture, particularly in the fintech domain. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, along with experience in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and deliver results on time and within budget. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovative solutions and a proactive approach to challenges. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing. Familiarity with data security and compliance standards relevant to financial services. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Nice to have Experience in the financial technology sector, particularly with banking or payment solutions. Knowledge of machine learning or data analytics technologies and their application in fintech. Previous experience working in a startup environment or fast-paced tech company. Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Multilingual abilities, particularly in Polish or other European languages, are a plus.
