Outpatient Imaging - GermantownIf you are a current Adventist HealthCare employee, please click this link to apply through your Workday account.Adventist HealthCare's Outpatient Imaging seeks to hire an experienced Multi-Modality Technologist for our Germantown, MD location who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.As a Multi-Modality Technologist you will:• Perform diagnostic imaging studies. Properly identifies patients, reviews order and selects appropriate protocol in order to maximize quality and safe patient care.• Receive patients, explains procedures and answers all patient questions and concerns pertaining to the exam• Be able to perform a variety of special imaging examinations using established or dictated protocols and perform all of the three different modalities as needed.• Accurately perform documentation in all computer systems applicable to diagnostic x-ray (HIS, RIS, PACS)• Be able to reconstruct images, films as well as process films.• Operate imaging and other related equipment according to the manufacturer’s specifications.• Monitor and assists patients, before during and after examinations. Maintain a clean and safe environment.• Be knowledgeable and practice ALARA principles including proper shielding of patients.• Maintain patient, hospital and employee confidentiality.
