Field Service Engineer II (LCMS) San Diego, CA REMOTE

Field Service Engineer II role supporting mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography, and ion chromatography systems across California territories. Responsibilities include on-site installation, maintenance, repairs, and customer training, with up to 75% travel required.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and instrument qualifications
- Document and analyze customer reports to diagnose technical issues and recommend solutions
- Coordinate problem resolution with engineering and customer service teams
- Develop and conduct training on equipment safe operation for customers and team members
- Manage customer relationships and serve as communication liaison between customers and company
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, science, or related field
- 2+ years hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation, chromatography, and mass spectrometry systems
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish customer rapport
- Ability to work independently at customer locations
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record
- Available for overnight travel up to 75% within territory
Compensation: $31.76–$47.60 hourly
