Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Registered Nurse (RN) This position is located in the healthcare provider's facility. The RN will provide individualized nursing care based on fundamental competencies in peri-anesthesia nursing and pharmacology, focusing on geriatric, adult, and adolescent patients from admission through discharge. The role requires knowledge of peri-anesthesia standards of care, airway management, nursing assessment parameters, and medication pharmacology. Job Details Certifications: BLS (AHA), CA RN Licensure, ACLS, PALS; 2 years PACU RN experience required, preferably in a high acute care hospital; ICU experience preferred. Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per shift, 40 hours per week. Additional Information: The RN will support patient care for a daily census of 40-50 patients across a 32-room unit. Responsibilities include airway assessment, medication administration, vascular access, and postoperative patient monitoring. The candidate must complete the required compliance modules during orientation. Candidates should have at least two years of experience in the specialty and hold valid certifications with recent documentation. Submission Requirements: Valid CA RN Licensure uploaded within the last 2 weeks, applicable certifications uploaded with valid expiration dates, and two references obtained within the last year.
