Respiratory Therapy Director

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Respiratory Therapy Director to lead our respiratory therapy services in a skilled nursing setting.

This is an excellent opportunity for a respiratory professional who enjoys leadership, clinical oversight, and working closely with an interdisciplinary team.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Respiratory Therapy Department

• Lead, train, and support respiratory therapy staff

• Ensure high-quality respiratory care for residents

• Develop and maintain respiratory care plans and protocols

• Monitor clinical outcomes and quality of care

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations

• Collaborate with nursing, physicians, rehabilitation, and other clinical departments

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records

• Assist with staff scheduling and department needs

• Participate in quality improvement and compliance initiatives

• Serve as a clinical leader and resource for respiratory care

What We’re Looking For

• Current Respiratory Therapist (RT/RRT) license/certification as required

• Previous respiratory therapy experience

• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred

• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred

• Strong clinical and organizational skills

• Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively

• Knowledge of respiratory care regulations and best practices

• Excellent communication and documentation skills
