Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Job

Overview
Registered Nurse - Med Surg in Pocatello, Idaho. This travel, temporary assignment begins 09/28/2026 for several weeks with a weekly pay range of $2,187 to $2,237. Shift is 3x12-hour Nights. You’ll work in an inpatient adult/geriatric medical-surgical unit with telemetry, unit beds ~48, and a varied patient population.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to adults and geriatrics on the med-surg/telemetry unit
- Monitor, assess, document patient status; administer medications and IV therapies; support airway/oxygen needs
- Manage lines and drains, wound care, and post-op or renal/AKI needs; assist with feeding tubes and PCA as appropriate
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition; participate in rapid response and coordination of care for sepsis, respiratory failure, and trauma cases
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team (PT, Respiratory, Pharmacy, Social Services, Radiology, Transportation) to ensure safe care plans and timely discharges
- Maintain proficiency with Epic charting; ensure accurate documentation of admissions, treatments, and clinical progress

Requirements
- Current RN license in Idaho or valid compact license in hand at submittal
- BLS certification required
- Epic charting experience
- Minimum 2 years med-surg experience; travel experience required
- Trauma experience: Level II preferred; patient ratio on unit: 1:6
- Ability to work nights and 3x12-hour shifts; floating as competencies allow
