The Financial Reporting Supervisor supports the Financial Reporting Manager with functions including transactional processing, financial analysis, budget development, cost allocation, and compliance controls. Responsibilities include supervising staff accountants in preparing reports and supporting special projects. Major Accountabilities include: Assisting with month-end and year-end close functions. Reviewing staff journal entries and reconciliations for GAAP compliance. Analyzing income statements and providing variance explanations. Preparing financial statements and reports by deadlines. Additional duties involve complex analysis, report preparation, grant monitoring, SOP reviews, and interdepartmental collaboration to ensure operational efficiency. Supervisory Responsibilities include staff selection, training, performance monitoring, and maintaining a fair workplace environment.
