Manufacturing Technician

OP Specialty Bracing is growing, and we believe our team is the key to our success. We are hiring a Manufacturing Technician to join our team. If you are a motivated, caring individual who wants to make a difference in the lives of children. Summary: The Manufacturing Technician requiresfollowingspecific instructions and detailed work orders to manufacture a custom bracing product from measurements,castsand scans. We make bracing for ankle/feet, scoliosis/spine, and Plagiocephaly/helmeting for infants. First Shift Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm Second Shift Monday - Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm Responsibilities: Ability to work with hands, including good visual capabilities to assess symmetry. Use of basic hand tools: drill press, jig saw, hand saw, rotary grinders Capability forsome heavylifting of 30 to 50lbs. Aptitude for basic math skills, including reading tape measurements and following written instructions. Good readingskills and comprehension skills, as well as the necessity to learn medical termspertainingtohuman anatomy. Basic computer skills to open and send documents, as well as input information. Preform all other duties as needed.
