Our dedicated External Transport team provides critical care and safely transports neonatal patients back to our facility.We proudly feature a NICU with a specialized Small Baby unit, catering specifically to the most vulnerable micro-preemies.The role involves setting up and operating various types of critical care and respiratory care equipment used in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases. This includes support in a referral center, during ground transport, and in the base hospital. Ground transport will be limited to neonatal, infant, and pediatric patient populations. You will perform specialized skills and manage equipment and techniques pertaining to neonates, infants, and pediatric patients, such as:Neonatal resuscitationDelivery room attendanceAirway support & stabilizationSurfactant administrationNitric administrationConventional and High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation (HFOV) necessary for NICU/PICU careProvidence Swedish caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable.
