Territory Growth Manager

A fast-growing, technology-driven logistics organization is seeking a Strategic Account Manager based in Arizona to support expansion within key construction and equipment markets. This field-based role is focused on building relationships with contractors, rental companies, material suppliers, and construction-related businesses while driving customer growth and long-term account retention. Responsibilities Develop new business through cold calling, jobsite visits, networking, referrals, and in-person prospecting Build relationships with contractors, equipment rental companies, material suppliers, excavators, and other construction-related businesses Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, presentations, customer onboarding, and ongoing account management Conduct face-to-face meetings and virtual presentations to introduce customers to the company's services Grow customer usage while developing long-term relationships within the assigned territory Identify new sales opportunities through regular customer interaction and market research Partner with operations and leadership teams to ensure an outstanding customer experience Maintain accurate CRM records, sales activity, and pipeline reporting Attend industry events and networking opportunities to expand market presence Provide customer feedback and market insights to leadership Qualifications Previous sales, customer service, business development, or account management experience preferred Experience within construction, equipment rental, logistics, transportation, industrial sales, or a related industry is a plus A strong desire to build a career in outside sales and business development Comfortable making cold calls, prospecting, and meeting with customers face-to-face on a daily basis Self-motivated with a competitive attitude and strong work ethic Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Organized with the ability to manage a sales territory independently Experience using CRM software is preferred but not required Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory #J-18808-Ljbffr Herk & Associates - Heavy Equipment Jobs
