This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a supportive and professional environment focused on providing exceptional care to patients and their families. Unit Information Total L&D Beds: 12 Number of LDRP Rooms: 12 OR Suites for C-Sections: 1 Triage Beds: 1 Postpartum Beds: 12 Average Births Per Day: 1.5 (50-60 per month) Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) setting. Assist with couplet care and the circulation of the operating room during C-sections. Titrate medications as necessary, including pitocin. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes. Participate in rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, while floating between L&D, Postpartum, and Mother/Baby units as required. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. ACLS, NRP, and BLS certifications are required. Experience in Labor & Delivery and couplet care is essential. Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips. Experience with intermediate fetal monitoring systems. Additional Information Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. Holiday shifts are also required, based on policy. The facility allows for some flexibility in scheduling. Currently, there are no in-house anesthesia or respiratory therapy teams; however, support is available as needed.
