An established California construction defect practice is seeking a Contract Attorney to assist with a growing pipeline of active litigation matters. This opportunity offers meaningful involvement in sophisticated construction defect disputes representing subcontractors and general contractors across the state.
The role is well suited for a litigator who enjoys substantive case responsibility, collaboration on litigation strategy, and direct involvement in all phases of construction defect litigation.
Responsibilities
- Manage construction defect litigation assignments throughout California
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and related litigation filings
- Conduct and defend depositions involving experts, contractors, and key witnesses
- Assist with mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation
- Work closely with attorneys and clients on case strategy and litigation management
- Support active matters involving subcontractor and general contractor representation
Work Arrangement
- Fully remote California-based practice
- Contract engagement supporting ongoing litigation matters
Compensation
- $120+/hr DOE
Salary Range: $120+/hr
