Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and highly organized Warehouse Manager to run our shipping and receiving operations. This is a hands-on role responsible for managing the full warehouse workflow — from inbound pallet receiving to order picking, packing, shipping, and inventory organization.

Our business serves both retail and wholesale customers in the semiconductor and high-tech industries. Most inbound pallets are turned around quickly and shipped out the next day, while remaining inventory is stored in pre-assigned rack locations. The workload is steady daily and becomes very busy during monthly inbound shipments.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, staying organized, and taking ownership of an entire warehouse operation.

Key Responsibilities

Shipping & Order Fulfillment

• Pick parts accurately from rack locations based on daily purchase orders
• Pack stainless steel hardware safely and efficiently
• Generate shipping labels and prepare documentation
• Schedule carrier pickups (UPS, FedEx, LTL freight, etc.)
• Ensure same-day or next-day shipment of orders
• Maintain clean and professional packaging standards

Receiving & Put-Away

• Receive monthly pallet shipments and verify quantities against packing lists
• Inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies
• Break down pallets and organize parts for storage or immediate shipment
• Stock inventory into pre-assigned rack locations
• Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness

Inventory & Warehouse Operations

• Maintain accurate inventory counts and location tracking
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with periodic physical inventory
• Optimize storage and workflow efficiency
• Maintain shipping supplies and reorder when needed
• Ensure safe handling of heavy stainless steel components

Coordination & Communication

• Work closely with inside sales and purchasing teams
• Communicate receiving status and shipment updates
• Prioritize workload during heavy inbound periods

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move 50 lbs
• Comfortable working with heavy stainless steel components
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the day
• Forklift or pallet jack experience preferred (training available)

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic computer skills (shipping software, email, spreadsheets)
• Experience with UPS/FedEx/LTL shipping strongly preferred
