Hagerstown, MD, United States Stock Control Supervisor Salary: $68,000 - $72,000 Key responsibilities: Perform all activities related to stock management. Maintain stock management KPI according to Operational Service Agreement (OSA) – Inventory Accuracy KPI. Align stock between the customer’s ERP and NewCold’s WMS (MLS). Meet contractual customer KPIs for service and quality. Control costs in line with budgeted expectations. Foster a NewCold culture, ensuring employee engagement. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment. Report and achieve all site KPIs. Maintain a professional relationship with the customer. Train and indirectly manage the team according to company policy and standards. Collaborate with managers or supervisors on improvement initiatives to reduce cost and improve service. Monitor and respond to KPI results, sharing improvement ideas with the Site Manager. Create a team culture focused on health, safety and quality. Develop and maintain customer service system (site‑specific policy and procedures). Appropriately escalates and communicates customer issues to correct staff for quick resolution. Maintain daily contact with customer and warehouse operations to discuss service and stock issues. Ensure inventory meets HAACP and BRC standards in coordination with site QESH Manager and customer QA department. Customer Stock and WMS System Management Manage and maintain stock accuracy between the client’s inventory control system and NewCold’s WMS. Provide the customer with accurate, timely information and maintain frequent contact on progress, priorities, defects and bottlenecks. Adjust stock as necessary after consultation with customer and operational staff. Signal anomalies and defects; inform Ops Manager and agree on measures, executing them with customer approval. Coordinate all stock‑management tasks with Ops Manager (restacking, status changes, cancellations, unpicks, blocked product, holds, cycle count, etc.). Complete all administrative work for the stock‑management process ensuring accuracy. Provide customer and Ops Manager with information on stock adjustments executed during operations. Manage the customer issue list, ensuring resolution and communication back to the customer. Resolve clean‑up and management actions related to WMS system. Detect and report software and hardware bugs to IT‑WMS Super User. Highlight Master Data issues within the WMS system (MLS) regarding orders and stock control to IT‑WMS Super User. Highlight Master Data deficits to the customer and ensure they are resolved. Investigate deficits highlighted by the planner and find solutions in collaboration with the customer. Additional tasks Assist colleagues in carrying out tasks as required. Support Business Development initiatives when required. Continuously look for improvement opportunities. Who we are looking for High School Degree. Training in Inventory Control Systems and Warehouse Management Systems. 3+ years of experience in stock management and customer service. Proficiency in Inventory Control Systems – JDE preferred. Training and team leadership experience within cross‑cultural environments. Operational experience in fully automated systems.
