Job Title Industrial Engineer Reporting To Manager, IE and Technical Work Schedule Onsite - Blacksburg, VA Moog Space and Defense Group is the operating group with the longest heritage at Moog. Our team in Space & Defense Group is looking for an Industrial Engineer to join them. You will report to the Industrial Engineering Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, VA. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. Industrial Engineering, Business Information Technology, or Mechanical Engineering degree is preferred. 0‑3 years of relative work experience to an Industrial Engineering role is preferred. Personal computer experience and working knowledge of database infrastructure and enterprise information systems software. Experience with statistical and continuous improvement tools, cost improvements, removing bottlenecks, and root‑cause analysis. Skills in interacting and communicating at all organizational levels. Analytical and project management skills. Experience pulling data queries and performing analysis in Microsoft Excel. Responsibilities Work with and maintain confidential information. Perform cost analysis of manufacturing data. Aid in cycle time updates. Support new opportunities for cost reduction and production efficiency. Expected to maintain best practices with a focus to prepare analysis of actual vs. budget hours. Recommend general operating practices to improve efficiencies and participate on cross‑functional teams. Use understanding of manufacturing business processes to support capacity planning. Expected to work in a collaborative team‑oriented environment. Other duties as assigned. Salary Range Transparency Blacksburg, VA $65,000.00‑$80,000.00 Annually Salary Range Disclaimer The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog’s total compensation package for employees.
