This position is full-time (40 hours / week), Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 6:00 am - 2:30 pm PST at our office location at 2720 N Tenaya Way, Las Vegas, NV 89128. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime and weekends.

The training for the position is on the job during your normally scheduled shift. The duration of the training is based on the needs of the clerk but can take up to 6 months to complete.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Sort and file prescriptions/patient demographic forms (may include lifting up to 20 lbs.)
• Locate and retrieve prescriptions/patient demographic forms when requested
• Label older prescription file boxes for offsite storage
• Cross train and work in all processes when needed
• Repetitive movements including sit, stand, kneel, reach, and climb ladder
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
• Must be 18 years of age OR older
• Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. without assistance
• Ability to work an 8-hour shift (40 hours / week), Monday - Friday from 6:00 am - 2:30 pm PST at our office location at 2720 N Tenaya Way, Las Vegas, NV 89128. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience with data entry, typing, and word processing applications
• Familiarity with healthcare claims

Soft Skills:

• Maintains focus and productivity while performing repetitive tasks with accuracy and consistency
• Excellent multitasking skills, effectively managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 - $25.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
