Director, Experience Planning

Director, Planning Hearts & Science is a data‑driven marketing agency that builds brand strategies with real‑time insights, providing expert media planning and buying, shopper marketing, marketing innovation, and content activation. Responsibilities As a senior leader in Planning at Omnicom Media, you will set the strategic vision for client portfolios and steer high‑impact media strategies across multiple channels. Your role covers both client‑facing leadership and internal team development. Define and communicate the strategic vision for client portfolios, leading the creation and stewardship of multi‑channel media strategies that drive measurable business results. Act as a senior advisor to clients, offering forward‑thinking counsel and identifying partnership and innovation opportunities. Oversee development and delivery of major client presentations, strategic recommendations, and campaign performance analyses. Continuously optimize programs through data analysis, performance monitoring, and proactive recommendations. Advocate for client objectives within OM, ensuring integrated strategies and informed investment decisions. Lead, inspire, and mentor planning teams, fostering a culture of high performance, growth, and accountability. Collaborate with activation, analytics, creative, and strategy teams to deliver cohesive and impactful plans. Promote operational excellence by optimizing workflow, driving process improvements, and encouraging adoption of OM tools and best practices. Identify, develop, and retain top talent through coaching, feedback, and leadership opportunities. Serve as a role model for OM's values and culture, driving cross‑team engagement and innovation. Qualifications 10+ years of progressive media planning experience with significant agency leadership and client management responsibilities. Proven success in developing and leading integrated media strategies for complex, high‑value accounts. Exceptional leadership, influencing, and relationship‑building skills. Advanced analytical skills; ability to translate data into actionable strategic recommendations. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and industry planning/analytics tools. Strong project management skills and ability to lead through change in a dynamic environment. Demonstrated passion for innovation and talent development. Build and sustain strong, long‑term client partnerships based on trust, innovation, and strategic insight. Ensure quality, consistency, and timeliness of all deliverables across client portfolios. Continuously elevate OM's reputation and thought leadership within the industry. Compensation and Benefits Compensation range: $90,000—$215,000 USD (adjusted for experience, location, and qualifications). Location: This is a hybrid role, requiring three (3) days per week in the office, with the remaining two (2) days worked remotely.
