Job title: Linehaul Dispatch PM Supervisor Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA Shift: Start time can be between 3:00pm-5:00pm (M-F) Job Purpose: This position requires leadership and management in routing transportation requirements for customers for the PM linehaul dispatch shift. The Transportation Manager may assign additional tasks as deemed appropriate at any time. Position Summary: The Linehaul Supervisor is responsible for the overall management coordination, and execution of linehaul operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant movement of freight between service centers. This exempt leadership position oversees linehaul drivers’ performance, operational planning, equipment utilization, regulatory compliance, and service execution while supporting the company’s commitment to safety, customer service, and operational excellence. The Linehaul Supervisor provides leadership to drivers and operational personnel, ensures service schedules are met, and proactively resolves transportation challenges that impact network performance. This role requires strong decision-making abilities, operation expertise, and the ability to lead in a fast-paced transportation environment. Organizational Relationships: Has frequent contact and communicates with all levels of staff. Qualifications Guidelines: Minimum of 3-5 years of transportation, dispatch, linehaul or logistics leadership experience required. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, hours of service requirements and transportation compliance Comprehensive understanding of LTL operations, freights movement routing and network planning. Experience utilizing transportation management systems, telematics platforms, and operational reporting tools Demonstrated leadership, coaching, conflict resolution, and employee development skills Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities Ability to management multiple priorities and make sound business decisions and fast paced environment. Performance expectations: Success in this role is measured by: On-time service performance Regulatory compliance and safety results Driver retention, engagement, and development Equipment utilization and fleet productivity Reduction of service failures and operational delays Effective management of labor and transportation resources Achievement of company operations financial objectives Work environment: This position operates in a fast-paced transportation environment and requires frequent interaction with drivers, dispatch personnel, terminal leadership, maintenance providers, and operational staff. The Line Haul Supervisor must be available to support operational needs outside of normal business hours when required to ensure continuity of service. This is Experience/Training/Education: Required: High school graduation or equivalent, plus minimum of 3 years of administrative support experience. Preferred: Associate degree or completion of some college business courses. Physical and Environmental Elements: This is primarily a sedentary office classification, and employees work in an office with moderate noise levels, controlled temperature conditions, and no direct exposure to hazardous physical substances. Clear speaking voice is necessary, as well as finger dexterity to access, enter and retrieve data using a computer keyboard, typewriter keyboard, or calculator, and to operate standard office equipment. The position occasionally bends, stoops, reaches, pushes, and pulls drawers to retrieve and file information and lifts and carries reports and records that typically weigh less than 20 pounds. This position is fully onsite at our Rancho Cucamonga, CA location and has a salary pay range of $75,000-$78,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
