Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Awareness in New Castle DE you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and provide compassionate customer service to patients visitors and staff. You will support a welcoming environment through clear communication teamwork and integrity while representing Allied Universals agile reliable innovative and people-first culture.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors staff and healthcare partners while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents behavioral health emergencies and other critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings grounds entry points and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity verify authorization as required and report suspicious activity hazards and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear accurate reports and maintain professional communication with site personnel emergency responders and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
