Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Coverage in New Castle DE you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and provide compassionate customer service to patients visitors and staff. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors staff and other authorized individuals while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities in a behavioral healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents behavioral health-related concerns and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings grounds entrances parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site-specific procedures; report suspicious activity hazards and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs incident reports and other required documentation and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
