Specialty Account Specialist (Immunology) Baltimore / DC

Location: Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC. This role offers the opportunity to lead key activities, grow your career, and make an impact in the specialty biologics space. Responsibilities Provide scientific knowledge, business acumen, and customer engagement expertise to specialist customers supporting a GSK biologic product. Understand the reimbursement/distribution landscape for specialist customers and identify the appropriate resources (e.g., Payer Relations Managers, HUB, headquarters approved materials) to refer customers while adhering to GSK guidelines and values. Maintain current knowledge and data regarding the treatment of Lupus and Lupus Nephritis. Provide product educational programs and in‑services to customers. Work within compliance guidelines and GSK values at all times. Develop strategies and tactics to generate sales. Develop and implement strategies specific to each customer group within an account (e.g., rheumatologists, nephrologists, nurses, mid‑level providers, business/office managers). Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Marketing, Payer Relations Managers (Market Access), Medical (MSLs), and other GSK functions. Effectively manage allocated resources. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Ability to travel domestically as necessary, including overnight travel up to 20% in some territories. Valid driver’s license; driving is an essential function of this role. Selected candidate will be hired at the appropriate level based on experience: Specialty Account Specialist (grade 8) : 5+ years of pharmaceutical/medical device experience. Senior Specialty Account Specialist (grade 7) : 12+ years of pharmaceutical/medical device experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience with specialty products that utilize Buy & Bill or specialty pharmacy modes of distribution. Expertise in working with Payer Reimbursement Managers. Biologic/Rare Disease/Immunology sales experience. Work Arrangement This position is primarily field‑based and requires regular travel within the assigned territory. The role is hybrid, combining remote work with in‑person customer engagement and office collaboration as needed. Benefits Salary range: $132,750 to $221,250 (adjusted for location, experience, and market). The role offers an annual bonus and eligibility for share‑based long‑term incentive programs.
