Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Maintenance Technician, where you will work within a manufacturing facility focused on maintaining and repairing equipment such as mills, lathes, high horse-power motors, electrical systems, and electric-driven filter systems. This contract position offers the potential to transition to full-time based on your performance and department goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Work with blueprints, schematics, and control systems to ensure equipment is operating efficiently.
• Utilize hand and power tools to perform maintenance tasks.
• Apply knowledge of mills and lathes in maintenance procedures.

Essential Skills

• Experience in mechanical assembly and repair.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting, including control systems and hydraulics.
• Prior industrial manufacturing experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic knowledge of mills or lathes.

Work Environment

The role is performed in a climate-controlled machine shop. Employees are regularly required to stand, use their hands, and occasionally walk. The role involves frequently lifting and/or moving objects weighing 25-50 pounds, with the use of a hoist/crane for heavier items. Work hours are 1st shift, 5:00 am - 1:30 pm, Monday to Friday, and 2nd shift, 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of White Settlement, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
