Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as an Occupational Therapist with a leading school-based program near Newark, NJ. We are seeking two dedicated professionals to collaborate in meeting the needs of a diverse caseload spanning preschool through grade 8. You’ll work a consistent weekday schedule of 6.5 hours per day, five days a week, providing essential services to a total caseload of 59 students—divided between you and your colleague. With a start as soon as possible and the role extending through June of 2027, you will have the opportunity to build lasting relationships and make a meaningful difference throughout multiple school years.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapy license in New Jersey
• School-based OT experience preferred, but new graduates with strong pediatric or education-focused clinicals are encouraged to apply
• Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
• Ability to adapt interventions to a wide range of student ages and needs (Preschool through 8th grade)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students across a variety of ages and abilities
• Deliver therapy sessions in both individual and group settings to support students’ academic participation and functional skills
• Maintain required documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with school staff and parents
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
