We are a privately-owned small animal general practice looking to add new a member to our family-oriented, supportive team to help facilitate excellent care of our patients. Ideally looking for a full-time candidate (30+ hours per week) but would consider those with part-time availability as well. Candidates should have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others, as well as reliable transportation/childcare. Veterinary knowledge/experience is strongly preferred, experience with Shepherd software is a plus.
Receptionist duties include:
- Answering phones and assessing the urgency of phone calls.
- Scheduling appointments.
- Checking clients in and out.
- Filing/scanning/managing medical records.
- Facilitating interactions between clients and Doctors.
- Collecting history from clients and answering clients’ questions.
Most full-time employees work 4 weekdays and alternating Saturday morning shifts. We do our best to be flexible with hours & scheduling. Currently looking for candidates with Saturday morning availability.
