Operating Room Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse (RN) operating room travel/contract position in Greensboro, NC for 13 weeks. Provide perioperative nursing care, support surgical teams, and ensure patient safety. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments. Prepare the operating room, ensuring sterile equipment and supplies are available. Monitor patient vital signs during procedures, intervening as needed. Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to execute surgical plans. Document patient care accurately in electronic health records. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent from an accredited institution. BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications. Valid RN license in North Carolina. Minimum 1 year of recent hospital-based nursing experience. Prior surgical or perioperative experience preferred. Strong electronic documentation skills. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work multiple shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
