Problem Sexual Behavior Clinician (Part-Time, $40/Hr) Employment Status: Part-Time Location: Main Office Reports To Director of Programs Summary Responsible for the delivery of evidence-based clinical interventions and clinical assessments to youth ages 13-18 who are referred for treatment of problematic sexual behaviors. Specific Position Duties and Responsibilities Deliver PSB CBT A treatment to adolescents and their families with model fidelity standards and clinical protocols. Conduct comprehensive assessments with PSB‑CBT A model components. Facilitate individual adolescent group and caregiver therapy sessions. Facilitate caregiver group therapy sessions. Facilitate individual adolescent and family sessions when clinically appropriate. Keep accurate documentation of all clinical and supportive tasks, including meeting all internal and regulatory guidelines related to record management. Complete required assessments and measurement tools. Consult with referring sources/systems and coordinate with other service providers. Maintain appropriate contacts with regulatory agencies and community referral sources; inform stakeholders of progress from referral to discharge and lead collaboration efforts to solve barriers to accessing program services. Participate in evidence-based model training, individual and team supervision, and consultation activities. General Agency Duties and Responsibilities Complete all required training. Act as a custodian and demonstrate responsible and ethical use of agency property and facilities. Display sensitivity to the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics. Learn and demonstrate agency-wide competencies including consumer and community relationships, continuous improvement, vision and purpose, respect and teamwork, positive leadership. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree in a clinical field from an accredited institution. Licensed or provisionally licensed (or eligible). Credentialed or eligible for credentialing with Medicaid plans in Wake County. Minimum of 1 year experience working with adolescents in a clinical setting; experience with the PSB CBT A treatment model is a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish language a plus. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of trauma-informed care approaches. Comfort discussing sexual development/behavior with adolescents and caregivers. Strong clinical judgment and ability to assess risk and protective factors. Group facilitation and/or presentation skills. Experience with client documentation and file management. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Other Requirements Completes and maintains PSB CBT A certification from agency approved trainers. Valid North Carolina Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record. Personal vehicle for use in conducting home visits and/or transporting clients when agency vehicles aren’t available. Proof of current/valid car insurance. Acceptable background report. Negative drug screen results. Flexible schedule, including occasional early morning, evening, and/or weekend hours. Culture of care and wellness in the office. Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions. Potential exposure to bloodborne and/or airborne pathogens.
