Android Developer
Location: Plano, TX – Onsite
Duration: 12+ Months
Job Description:
- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
- Build clean, maintainable, and reusable code following Android best practices.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive and responsive user interfaces.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
- Write unit tests, UI tests, and participate in code reviews.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines to automate build and release processes.
- Stay current with Android platform updates, tools, and emerging technologies.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of experience in Android application development.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
- Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, Gradle, and Jetpack components.
- Hands-on experience integrating REST APIs and JSON.
- Familiarity with MVVM or other Android architectural patterns.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
