This executive leadership role is responsible for accelerating Artificial Intelligence adoption across Wealth, Corporate, Commercial, and Institutional Banking (WCIB). The leader will establish and execute the AI strategy, operating model, and delivery framework that enables business lines to leverage enterprise AI capabilities, accelerate innovation, improve productivity,anddrivemeasurablebusinessoutcomeswhilemaintainingstronggovernanceandriskcontrols.KeyResponsibilitiesDefineandexecuteamulti-yearAItechnologystrategyandroadmapthatadvancesclientexperiences,operationalefficiency,employeeproductivity,andbusinessgrowthacrossWCIB.LeadthedevelopmentandoperationofafederatedAIdeliverymodel,establishingAIengineeringpodsembeddedwithinbusiness-alignedtechnologyorganizations.Partnerwithseniorbusiness,product,andtechnologyleaderstoidentify,prioritize,anddeliverhigh-valueAIusecasesthatdrivemeasurableoutcomes.AccelerateadoptionofGenerativeAI,AgenticAI,MachineLearning,andenterpriseAIplatformsacrossWCIBtechnologyteams.CollaboratewithenterpriseAIorganizationsandCentersofExcellencetoleveragesharedplatforms,reusableservices,andstandardizedAIarchitectures.EstablishscalableAIengineeringpractices,frameworks,tooling,andgovernancethatenablerapidandconsistentdeliveryacrossmultiplebusinessunits.DriveAI-enabledimprovementsacrossthesoftwaredevelopmentlifecycle,increasingengineeringproductivity,codequality,deliveryspeed,andoperationalexcellence.LeadAItalentstrategyincludingworkforceplanning,recruitment,capabilitydevelopment,mentoring,andupskillinginitiatives.EnsureadherencetoenterprisestandardsforResponsibleAI,modelgovernance,security,compliance,riskmanagement,andregulatoryrequirements.Influenceexecutivestakeholdersandtechnologyleadersacrosstheorganizationtocreatealignment,removebarriers,andscaleAIinnovationthroughoutWCIB.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience10 or more years of relevant software engineering experienceSix or more years of experience leading multiple software engineering teamsRequiredSkills&QualificationsProvenexperienceleadinglarge-scaleAI,data,platform,ortechnologytransformationinitiatives.StrongunderstandingofArtificialIntelligence(AI),GenerativeAI,MachineLearning(ML),AgenticAI,andenterpriseAIplatforms.Experiencebuildingandscalingproduct-orientedtechnologyteamsandfederatedoperatingmodels.DemonstratedsuccessdeliveringAIsolutionsthatdrivemeasurablebusinessoutcomes.Strongbackgroundinsoftwareengineering,cloudtechnologies,dataplatforms,andenterprisearchitecture.Exceptionalleadership,communication,andstakeholdermanagementskills.Demonstratedabilitytoinfluenceacrosscomplexorganizationsandalignmultiplestakeholderstowardcommonoutcomes.Experiencepartneringwithseniorexecutives,productorganizations,andenterprisetechnologyteams.ExpertiseinassessingAIopportunitiesandriskswhilebalancinginnovation,governance,andbusinessvalue.Experienceworkingwithinfinancialservicesenvironmentspreferred.Location expectations This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.If there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.
