Job Title Associate Scientist Location South San Francisco, California (On-Site) Job Summary We are representing a company seeking an Associate Scientist to support hands-on laboratory work across NGS sample and library preparation, basic histology, and cell culture. This position is well suited for a detail-oriented scientist who can produce reliable data, collaborate effectively, and contribute to a busy research environment. Responsibilities Perform sample preparation, library preparation, and QC for NGS sequencing workflows. Carry out basic histology activities, including sectioning, staining, and imaging of tissue samples. Perform basic cell culture and support routine experimental work under limited supervision. Analyze and record experiments, communicate findings to the work group, and help troubleshoot equipment or experimental issues. Required Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience, or a Master’s degree, or an Associate’s degree and 4 years of experience, or a high school diploma/GED and 6 years of experience. Hands-on experience with NGS library preparation and sequencing. Experience with basic histological techniques and RNA in-situ hybridization. Experience with spatial and single-cell transcriptomics.
