We are a locally owned and operated, top performing, Midas Auto service center in Spartanburg SC that is looking to add an automotive technician to our family.Benefits:Flexible hours, weekly pay.Five-day work week, no Sundays.401k Retirement program with immediate participation.Up to 2 weeks paid vacation annually.Free on the job and web-based training program to further grow your skills and obtain certifications if so desired.Uniforms and uniform service provided.Positive work environment that revolves around teamwork.Responsibilities:As an automotive technician at our facility, you will not be tasked with doing the heavy type work such as replacing engines, transmissions, etc. However, you must be proficient in the maintenance and repair in the areas we focus on, while completing the jobs in a timely manner. These areas include but not limited to:Diagnostics services. Mostly drivability issues.Tire installation, maintenance and tire repair. Including TPMS.Heating, air conditioning, and climate control.Steering, suspension, and alignment.Scheduled maintenance services such as tune ups, fluid exchanges, etc.Engine cooling systems.Starting and charging systems.Brake repair along with some ABS, traction control diagnosis and repair. We do a lot of brake work.Oil changes. Our team, from Master Certified technician to General Service tech, all welcome them as "opportunities".Exhaust system repair and replacement a plus.Visual safety and courtesy maintenance inspections.Position requires a strong work ethic and ability to function well within a team environment.Qualifications:Ability to repair vehicles independently, while also having experience working well in a team environmentMinimum of 5 years experience. Certifications are a plus but not required.Track record of high personal productivity with a strong work ethic.Knowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilities.Ability to repair vehicles independently, while also working well in a team environment.Valid driver's license.Own tools/equipment (diagnostic & specialty tools provided).Able to service both foreign and domestic vehicles.Compensation: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
