Hotel Front Desk Attendant

Three Evenings, 2 audits (Tues‑Thurs 3‑11 pm; Fri‑Sat 11 pm‑7 am). We’re looking for a positive and professional hotel front desk agent to deliver an exceptional experience to every guest at our hotel. You’ll welcome guests, manage their information, distribute their keys and room assignments, and answer any general inquiries to ensure they have an excellent stay with us. Responsibilities Take incoming calls, online and in‑person room bookings requests, and answer questions about guests’ needs involving room rates, available rooms, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests. Perform regular bookkeeping duties: make sure hotel guest information is current and correct. Connect with the housekeeping department to ensure guest accommodations are ready. Field customer complaints when necessary. Give every guest a warm welcome, check them in, and check them out when they leave, ensuring you provide correct keys and room numbers. Qualifications High school graduate, GED recipient, or equivalent. Has previous experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems. 1+ year of hotel industry experience or related job preferred. Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills. Has experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations.
