Consumer and Community Banking - Third Party Governance Program Manager - Vice President

In this role, you will help build a modern, insight-driven approach to third-party governance that connects business priorities, expertise, and transformation delivery. You will join a collaborative team focused on strengthening governance and improving how change is prioritized and executed. Together, we will help leaders act with clarity when new risks, events, and incidents arise.As a Vice President in Consumer & Community Banking Third Party Governance, you will strengthen transformation governance and proactive risk insight across our organization. You will lead program management for a portfolio of change initiatives, coordinate intake and prioritization, and provide clear executive reporting on milestones, dependencies, risks, and decisions. You will help design and mature emerging-risk and event and incident management processes, partnering across governance, controls, business, and technology teams to translate insights into sustainable action.Job ResponsibilitiesLead program governance for a portfolio of third-party transformation and continuous-improvement initiatives by establishing integrated plans, milestones, dependencies, governance routines, and performance measures to strengthen accountability and outcomes.Execute change intake, assessment, and prioritization using transparent criteria, documented decisions, and clear ownership.Deliver concise executive reporting that highlights progress, outcomes, emerging concerns, trade-offs, and required actions.Define and mature emerging-risk processes that identify, assess, escalate, and monitor relevant third-party risk signals, translating insights into prioritization decisions and improvements to the third-party risk framework.Design and mature event and incident management practices by clarifying roles, escalation paths, communications, and follow-up actions, while capturing lessons learned and recommending practical process, data, and tooling enhancements.Partner with business, risk, controls, operations, and technology teams to align priorities and resolve cross-functional dependencies.Required qualifications, capabilities, and skillsMinimum 7 years of experience in program management, risk management, controls, governance, operations, change management, or a related discipline.Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and executive-level visibility.Working knowledge of risk and control principles, including issue identification, escalation, remediation, and sustainable process design.Demonstrated ability to develop governance routines, status reporting, decision materials, and executive communications that support timely decisions and clear alignment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative information into clear priorities, roles, processes, and deliverables.Demonstrated ability to build trusted partnerships across business, risk, controls, operations, and technology teams.Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsExperience with third-party risk management, supplier governance, operational risk, resiliency, or event and incident management.Experience designing or maturing emerging-risk sensing, assessment, monitoring, or reporting practices.Experience supporting transformation portfolios, operating-model design, or enterprise change initiatives.Familiarity with workflow, reporting, analytics, or automation tools used to improve governance and management insight.Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional certification in program management, risk, controls, or a related field.Chase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America’s households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
