Description

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in La Mesa, CA, requiring ARRT(M) certification and documented experience in screening and diagnostic mammography.

Details

• Outpatient medical office mammography setting
• Performs screening and diagnostic mammography procedures
• Weekend shifts are 12-hour shifts (8:30 AM – 9:00 PM) covering Saturday and Sunday screening
• Weekday schedule consists of two 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday for screening and diagnostic imaging
• 36 hours per week total
• Uses Epic EMR
• Local candidates are accepted

Requirements

• Active ARRT(M) certification required
• Active CA Mammography license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum of 200 mammography studies completed within the last two years
• Minimum of 15 CEUs in breast imaging completed within the last three years
• Proof of a formal mammography education program required
• Experience in both screening and diagnostic mammography required
• Experience in stereotactic procedures and needle localizations is a plus
• All licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration — pending credentials are not accepted
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Conducts screening and diagnostic mammography studies across weekend and weekday shifts
• Stereotactic biopsy and needle localization experience is preferred but not required
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility may be subject to a 90-day break requirement before returning on assignment
