* D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a UX Copywriter *. The right candidate willdevelop clear, compelling marketing copy that supports brand messaging and customer engagement across digital and traditional channels. This role collaborates with marketing, creative, product, and digital teams to produce content for campaigns, websites, email, advertising, and customer communications while ensuring consistency with brand voice and messaging standards.*A portfolio link must be attached to your resume to qualify for this role.*This is an in-person role in our Arlington office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Translate marketing strategies and creative briefs into clear messaging that supports campaign goals and brand positioning across the following areas: o Email/SMS marketing campaigns o Paid social (Meta, TikTok, etc.) o Web pages o Video scripts o Organic social content o Paid search (Google Ads)

• Craft clear, user-centered UX copy for product experiences (onboarding flows, in-app messaging, tooltips, error states)

• Maintain consistency in tone, voice, and messaging across all marketing channels and content formats

• Collaborate with designers, marketing leadership, and product teams to develop integrated campaign content

• Adapt messaging for multiple formats including web pages, social media, landing pages, advertising, and promotional materials

• Review and revise content based on stakeholder feedback while ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with brand guidelines

• Support marketing initiatives by producing content that drives customer engagement and supports business objectives

• Ensure all written materials comply with brand standards, legal requirements, and company messaging guidelines

• Ability to work overtime

• Assist with proofreading and editing of marketing materials produced by internal teams or external partners

• Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field

• 3-5 years of copywriting experience across multiple marketing channels

• UX Experience required

• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively

• Proven experience writing marketing copy for email, SMS, paid social, organic social, and paid search

• Experience writing UX/product copy with a strong understanding of user-centered design principles

• Strong understanding of performance marketing and conversion-focused writing

• Ability to write both short-form and longer-form content (blogs, landing pages, SEO content is a plus)

• Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision

• The noise level is generally moderate

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience writing for digital marketing campaigns and websites

• Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital content optimization

• Familiarity with A/B testing and performance analytics tools

• Experience working closely with product and design teams on end-to-end user journeys

• Experience contributing to or evolving brand voice and messaging frameworks
