Plant Controller – Growing Consumer Manufacturing Company
Location: Greater Minneapolis Area
Salary: $120,000–$140,000 + Bonus + Full Benefits
A rapidly growing, mission‑driven consumer goods manufacturer is seeking a Plant Controller to lead all plant‑level financial operations and serve as a strategic business partner to the Plant Director and cross‑functional leaders. This site is experiencing strong investment, expanding capabilities, and prioritizing operational excellence, and they need a hands‑on financial leader who can elevate processes, reporting, and visibility across the plant.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee full financial reporting, month‑end close, and GL accuracy
- Lead cost accounting, production reporting, and plant performance analysis
- Partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Corporate Finance
- Drive process improvements, tighten internal controls, and streamline workflows
- Support budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and data‑driven decision making
- Influence outcomes through strong ERP usage and actionable financial insights
What We’re Looking For:
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing
- Deep cost accounting and operational finance background
- Proven ability to build better processes, reporting, and controls
- Strong communicator who can partner effectively with non‑finance leaders
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment
- ERP proficiency and advanced Excel skills
