Base pay range $30.00/hr - $50.00/hr Direct message the job poster from Insight Global Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to join our client’s growing finance team in Minnesota. This role is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional with a strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and team leadership. The Controller will play a key role in shaping financial strategy and ensuring the integrity of all financial operations. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements. Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and annual budgets. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals. Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes. Stay current with accounting standards (GAAP) and regulatory requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred). 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP). Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Experience in a mid-sized or large corporate environment is a plus.
