The CA Department of Water Resources (DWR) is recruiting for a highly talented, motivated, experienced, and people-centered Information Technology professional as an Enterprise Solutions Architect. The Information Technology Specialist III joins one of the most progressive technology organizations in CA state government to provide expert level, cross platform support for the Department’s suite of enterprise software solutions, including custom developed applications, Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms, and Custom off the Shelf (COTS) products. The ideal candidate will possess:

• Extensive and expert level knowledge of Artificial Intelligence technology, custom software development, SaaS platforms, and COTS products.
• Extensive system administration work experience
• Strong working knowledge of VMware virtualization, hybrid cloud, and hyperscale computing technologies
• Excellent knowledge of current and emerging information technology trends
• Demonstrated ability to work with a large and diverse audience in a leadership capacity to deliver defined business solutions
• Creative thinker with a demonstrated history of applying excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills to solving complex problems
• Ability to effectively complete competing workloads and projects in a timely manner

• Excellent writing and presentation skills
