Senior Project Manager - Practice BuilderKimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager - Practice Builder to expand our Solid Waste practice in Vero Beach, FL.ResponsibilitiesManage, lead, and expand practice teams for multi-discipline projects and programs of work in the fields of solid waste and landfill managementHas an entrepreneurial spirit and can create a vision for growth for the local solid waste and landfill practice, as well as throughout FloridaLeadership responsibilities include:Operating with integrity and sound business principlesProviding vision, business planning and strategyEstablishing goalsBuilding and maintaining positive client relationshipsHaving open communication with your partners and teamGrowing and leading a solid waste and landfill practiceOur Project Managers/Practice Builders manage their projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentorThe successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their businessWith success, this individual will enjoy the rewards of an impressive bonus program with the potential to advance to ownershipQualifications10+ years of civil engineering, design, and management of solid waste and landfill projects experienceRegistered Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (or the option for immediate reciprocity approval)Client contacts and relationships with local municipalities, area counties, water management authorities and local, regional, state agenciesBusiness development skills and the proven ability to win workExcellent communication, leadership, and technical skillsStrong desire and ability to be engaged with clients solving project problemsAbility to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organizationAbility to manage and mentor staff and direct resources effectively in a positive mannerDemonstrated ability to manage projects profitablyWhy Kimley-Horn?At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
