Director OF Events
Everise
Everise is at an inflection point — and our events program needs to reflect it. In the past 18 months we launched EverAI Labs, won a 2025 AI Excellence Award, forged a $500M Microsoft AI partnership, and were named an Everest Group Leader in Healthcare CXM Intelligent Operations. We are 28,000 Champions across eight markets, backed by Brookfield and Warburg Pincus, serving healthcare, insurance, financial services, utilities, and technology clients at scale. Events at Everise are not logistics. They are a business driver — every conference appearance, client dinner, executive roundtable, and brand activation has a job: accelerating pipeline, deepening relationships, building analyst credibility, or attracting the talent we need to keep growing. This role owns that strategy and executes it. What this role also requires is someone who thrives in a fast-moving, high-change environment. Plans shift, timelines compress, and priorities change overnight. The right person does not freeze — they pivot, solve, and deliver without letting the disruption show. What This Role Is This is a senior events leadership role with full ownership of strategy and execution. You will build and manage the Everise events calendar — major industry conferences like CCW, HLTH, and Gartner Symposium, proprietary client events, executive roundtables, leadership offsites, and sales activation moments. You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Brand, Client Services, and the executive team, managing vendors and agencies while keeping every experience on brand and on purpose. The pace is real. There will be moments where you are planning three events simultaneously with compressed timelines and incomplete information. The expectation is not a perfect plan — it is excellent judgment, calm execution, and a team that trusts your lead. We are not looking for someone who needs a fully defined brief. We are looking for someone who builds excellent work from an incomplete one. What You’ll Do Own the Everise events strategy end-to-end: annual calendar, budget, prioritization, and ROI measurement across all event types Manage Everise's presence at the conferences that matter most — CCW, HLTH, Gartner Symposium, and others — from sponsorship strategy through on-site execution Design and produce proprietary Everise events: client dinners, executive roundtables, prospect briefings, and brand activations that create pipeline and deepen relationships Partner with Sales and Client Services so every event has a defined business objective, a target attendee list, and a post-event follow-up plan Own the full logistics lifecycle: venue sourcing, vendor negotiation, contract management, budget tracking, run-of-show, and on-site execution Collaborate with the Brand team to ensure every experience reflects the Everise brand — visually, tonally, and in every detail Report on event ROI: pipeline influenced, executive engagement, post-event sentiment — outcomes, not attendance numbers Support the executive team at key events with briefing preparation and on-site coordination so they show up at their best Build and maintain a vendor and agency network that scales quickly when timelines are tight Who Gets This Role You have owned a B2B events program — or a significant portfolio within one — at a technology, services, or AI-adjacent company. You bring a strong background working within fast-paced startups or high-growth environments , where you have managed industry conferences, executive-facing experiences, and client activations simultaneously. You are equally comfortable in strategy mode and execution mode. You bring a point of view on what belongs in the events calendar, what creates real business impact, and how to turn a conference booth into a business development moment. When something goes wrong — and it will — you solve it quietly, communicate what matters, and keep the experience on track. The people who have worked with you describe you as unflappable, organized, creative, and the person everyone wants on‑site when it counts. What You Bring Up to 6 years of progressive corporate experience within fast-paced startups or high-growth B2B environments with meaningful experience in technology, CX, BPO, healthcare, or financial services — New York-based or NYC metro proximity required Full-cycle event ownership — strategy, budget, vendor management, logistics, on-site execution, and post-event measurement, end-to-end without handing off Industry conference expertise — proven experience managing brand presence and executive activation at major enterprise conferences; you know how to turn a sponsorship into a business development moment Executive-facing event production — designing and running high-stakes experiences for C-suite audiences where every detail matters and there is no margin for visible error Pipeline-oriented mindset — every event has a business objective; you connect your program to revenue impact and report on outcomes, not headcount Operational discipline under pressure — you have managed simultaneous events with compressed timelines and shifting priorities; you adapt without freezing and keep the team with you Vendor and agency network — strong relationships across New York and key conference markets that activate quickly when timelines are tight Cross-functional collaboration — you align Sales, Marketing, Brand, and the executive team naturally, gather input efficiently, and execute without constant oversight Technology fluency — Cvent, Splash, or equivalent; Asana or Monday.com; working knowledge of how AI tools are shaping event personalization, audience segmentation, and post-event follow-up What the Best Events Leaders in This Space Do Differently Every event has a job. The best define the business objective first — pipeline, relationship, brand, or talent — and build the invite list, the experience, and the follow-up plan around that outcome. Events without a job are expensive hospitality. They make the chaos invisible. Great leaders manage flow, morale, and contingencies simultaneously. Attendees and executives never see what went sideways backstage — because it was already handled. They build systems that survive speed. In fast-moving environments, detailed plans become outdated before they are finished. The best build frameworks and vendor relationships that flex — so a four-week timeline produces a plan, not a panic. They think like sales partners. They know which prospects belong in the room, coordinate post-event follow-up with Sales, and measure success in pipeline and relationships — not registration numbers. They protect the brand in every detail. At the level Everise operates, every event is a brand statement. The quality of the experience, the precision of the run-of-show, the way an executive walks into a room — all of it reflects on the company. Location NewYork, NY. Travel required to conferences, client events, and Everise leadership offsites throughout the year. Everise is an equal opportunity employer committed to building an inclusive, diverse workplace where every Champion can do the best work of their career. #J-18808-Ljbffr
