Dermott City Nursing Home is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team in Dermott, AR. The ADON will play a critical role in supporting the Director of Nursing to ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care and compliance with regulatory standards. This position requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to fostering a positive and safe environment for both residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in managing the day-to-day operations of the nursing department.
• Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure quality resident care and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing nursing home operations.
• Participate in staff training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary processes as needed.
• Address resident and family concerns promptly and professionally.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the facility.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of Arkansas.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a nursing leadership role within a long-term care setting.
• Strong knowledge of nursing home regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
• Proficient in electronic medical records and related healthcare software.
