Tech - CT

Job Summary:
Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes. Performs various imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy to support accurate patient diagnosis and care.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT and other imaging equipment to acquire high-quality images.
• Assess, plan, and execute imaging procedures tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Use PACS and teleradiology systems to accurately transfer images with proper documentation.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.
• Perform routine supply inventory management and necessary record keeping.

Qualifications:

• Hold an associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred).
• Be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R.T. (R)(CT) or ARRT R.T.(R)).
• Possess a valid radiologic technologist license in the practice state (CA required).
• Keep current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Basic certification in fluoroscopy and venipuncture required in CA; additional advanced certifications preferred.
• Demonstrate at least two years of recent clinical imaging experience.
