Immigration Attorney

Company Description Deason Law, P.C. is a law firm representing businesses and individuals across the United States and globally. A significant part of our practice focuses on corporate immigration, including immigrant and nonimmigrant visas, intracompany transfers of managers and executives, employment-based PERM sponsorships, EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3 cases, H-1B visas, O-1 visa, E investor cases, H-2A agricultural workers, employer I-9 compliance, and government audits. Attorney will also assist with litigation of immigration and employment law cases. Role Description Deason Law, P.C. is seeking a full-time Immigration Attorney for an on-site position in Houston, Texas or San Luis Obispo, California. The attorney will work together with paralegal staff and principal attorney Dax Deason on a diverse caseload involving employment-based immigration, family-based immigration, labor and employment law, government investigations and litigation. Qualifications J.D. degree from an accredited law school. Active license and good standing to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. Experience with employment-based immigration matters, including immigrant and nonimmigrant visa petitions. Experience with family-based immigration, or immigration litigation is a plus. Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases, priorities, and deadlines. Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff. Bilingual Spanish/English required; professional fluency in both languages is essential. Firm pays 100% of health insurance. Dental, Vision and other similar benefits are not provided by Firm plan but not covered. Firm pays periodic bonuses based on performance.
