JOB SUMMARY PS&E is looking for a sharp, strategic, and emotionally intelligent Copywriter to help bring our stories to life across digital and physical platforms for the Indiana Pacers, Indiana Fever, Noblesville Boom, and Gainbridge Fieldhouse. This person knows how to evoke emotion with just a few words, can turn a brief into a bold campaign, and thrives in a fast-moving, multi-brand creative environment. You’ll help define and refine the voice of each brand, crafting everything from manifestos and marketing headlines to emails, taglines, SMS and digital copy. Whether it’s a video script that gives fans chills or a perfectly crafted subject line that drives ticket sales, you’ll be the go-to for turning strategy into story. This role sits within our in-house creative agency and works closely with brand, marketing, digital, sales, and partnerships teams to craft copy that cuts through, drives business, and builds lasting fan relationships. ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES Write bold, concise, emotionally resonant copy that reflects each brand’s voice across platforms (social, email, web, OOH, paid, in-venue, SMS, etc.) Craft campaign manifestos, taglines, voiceover scripts, and content frameworks that set the tone for key moments and product launches Collaborate closely with designers to marry words and visuals in a way that elevates both Own and evolve brand tone of voice guidelines in partnership with the brand and creative leadership team Contribute to Salesforce Marketing Cloud campaigns through short-form messaging for email, SMS, and push notifications Author scripts for promotional videos, interviews, and in-game moments that drive emotional connection Translate insights into copy that resonates, writing for audiences, not just channels Edit and refine content from other stakeholders to ensure brand alignment and message clarity Understand how to write for glance media (OOH, SMS, email subject lines, etc.) Support presentation decks, partnership materials, and internal comms as needed In every position, each employee is expected to align with PS&E's mission and core values along with actively participating in company-sponsored community outreach programs. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 5+ years experience writing in a brand, agency, or in-house creative environment Portfolio that demonstrates versatility across formats and platforms Strong understanding of copywriting for digital channels, especially email, social, and paid Ability to elevate creative through concept and craft, not just execution Familiarity with brand guidelines, messaging strategy, and multi-touchpoint campaigns Comfort with tight turnarounds and multiple priorities Strong collaboration skills, you enjoy being part of the creative process, not just a late- stage add-on PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
