Account Manager – Vessel Closure (Jacksonville, FL) This field-based position supports Abbott's Vascular division. The Account Manager will ensure the assigned territory meets or exceeds sales objectives, deliver profitable growth and market share expectations aligned with quarterly and annual plans. The role will work with the Regional Sales Director to identify market opportunities, evaluate business potential, coordinate activities with Clinical Specialists, negotiate contracts, and monitor market dynamics. Responsibilities Lead all commercial selling activity in the assigned territory, focusing on Electrophysiologists, Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Cardiologists, and Interventional Radiologists to promote the complete Vessel Closure portfolio, including small and large bore arterial and venous devices and future product releases. Support clinical selling activity and procedure case service, including clinical differentiation, value proposition, product launch, physician onboarding, early case coverage, and training. Influence stakeholders within the hospital setting. Drive product utilization in key growth categories and support placement of capital to maximize utilization. Support contracting efforts to secure favorable positions in accounts. Drive market development in new product segments and launches. Meet with current and potential customers to achieve revenue and unit growth objectives on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Develop and implement sales strategies by determining product, competition, and pricing factors for existing and potential accounts. Create action plans (weekly, quarterly, monthly) by analyzing sales figures and reports, identifying account needs, and discussing issues with the Regional Sales Director. Develop relationships with hospital personnel and identify key purchasing decision makers to facilitate sales growth. Strengthen customer relationships through sales support activities such as product training, therapy awareness, and education events. Build networks of contacts by attending trade shows, educational conferences, and seminars. Maintain clinical and technical expertise through company product training sessions. Prepare and submit reports to sales management by analyzing and compiling data, projections, and other relevant information. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3-5 years of related work experience. Ability to travel 50% within assigned region. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience selling in the medical device industry. Compensation The base pay for this position is $61,300.00 - $122,700.00.
