Senior Art Director

Location: 100% Remote – EST or CST Duration: 6 Months, with strong possibility of extension and conversion Pay Rate: $45-48/hr on W2 without benefits Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Art Director to support a high-volume digital performance marketing and analytics initiative focused on developing and testing digital advertising assets. This role will work closely with creative and marketing partners to develop a large volume of digital assets across paid media channels, with a strong focus on static and video advertising. The ideal candidate has strong digital advertising experience, understands how to work within established brand systems, and can translate creative concepts into engaging, performance-focused assets. The role may also contribute to storyboarding, concept development, and visual storytelling for video initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality digital advertising assets for performance marketing and test-and-learn initiatives.
• Design static and video assets for digital and social advertising channels, including Meta.
• Work within established brand systems and guidelines while maintaining creative consistency.
• Support high-volume creative production, potentially delivering 100+ assets per month depending on project needs.
• Collaborate with Art Directors, Creative Writers, Creative Directors, and marketing stakeholders.
• Contribute to storyboarding, visual concepts, and storytelling for video content.
• Apply strong understanding of digital advertising, interaction design, and UX principles to creative work.
• Develop creative variations to support large-scale testing and optimization.
• Incorporate feedback quickly while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
• Leverage AI-enabled creative tools and established workflows to support efficient asset production.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Art Direction, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of agency or in-house experience as an Art Director or Graphic Designer.
• Strong experience creating digital marketing and advertising assets.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating:
• Digital advertising and campaign design
• Static and display advertising
• Interaction design and UX principles
• Storyboarding and visual storytelling
• Digital-first creative execution
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume creative environment.
• Strong understanding of brand systems and ability to execute within established guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with performance marketing and large-scale creative testing.
• Hands-on experience creating advertising for Meta and other digital platforms.
• Experience with display advertising, content marketing, and social media creative.
• Understanding of user testing and social media best practices.
• Experience in financial services, corporate, or other highly regulated industries.
• Experience supporting video creative and developing storyboards.
• Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools and workflows.
