Position Overview
As a Kitchen Team Member — Cook, Line Cook, or Prep Cook , you’ll be part of the heartbeat of Ladybird Taco. You’ll prepare and cook delicious food, maintain high standards of quality and safety, and support your teammates in a fun, fast-paced kitchen environment.

You’ll report to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager , and live out our core values of being Caring, Humble, and Hungry every day.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and cook tacos, sides, and proteins to Ladybird standards
• Follow all food safety, cleanliness, and quality procedures
• Keep prep, line, and dish areas clean and organized
• Restock and rotate ingredients throughout service
• Communicate clearly with teammates to keep the line flowing
• Receive and put away deliveries
• Support the team wherever needed — everyone pitches in

Who You Are

• A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
• Caring, humble, and hungry to learn
• Detail-oriented and dependable in fast-paced settings
• Comfortable working with kitchen tools and equipment
• Familiar with or willing to learn proper food safety standards
• Able to obtain a food handler’s permit

Experience as a cook, line cook, or prep cook is a plus — but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Comfortable operating kitchen tools and equipment
• Able to follow directions accurately and efficiently
• Work safely around cleaning chemicals and hot equipment
