Test Technician – Electrical Manufacturing

Pay: $22.00–$32.00/hour
Multiple Shifts Available

We are hiring experienced Test Technicians for a growing electrical/electronic manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on electrical testing experience who is comfortable reading schematics, troubleshooting test failures, and working with electrical testing equipment.

Schedule:

• Day Shift: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM
• Late Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Perform electrical testing and inspection of manufactured products
• Inspect electrical wire routing, torque, and continuity
• Conduct Hi-Pot, current injection, functional, and ground testing
• Troubleshoot test failures and assist in identifying electrical issues
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
• Document inspection and testing results accurately
• Follow established test procedures and work instructions
• Support production and quality teams to ensure products meet specifications
• Identify quality concerns and communicate issues when products or processes do not meet requirements
• Work independently while meeting production schedules and quality goals

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years of electrical/electronic manufacturing experience
• Previous experience as a Test Technician, Electrical Test Technician, Field Service Technician, or similar role
• Hands-on experience with electrical testing tools and equipment
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document test results
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a manufacturing environment

Highly Desired Experience:

• LV/MV switchgear or similar electrical equipment
• Hi-Pot testers
• Current injection systems
• Functional testing
• Ground testing
• ISO 9001:2015
• AQL acceptance sampling
• Technical or vocational training in electrical/electronic systems
