About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP of Tax to lead and manage all aspects of the tax function. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring compliance, developing and implementing tax strategies, and will play a key role in the company's financial planning. This high-visibility position requires interaction with senior leadership and demands a professional with a strong background in federal and state taxation, including the preparation and review of tax returns for various entities. The role is pivotal in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment, and the ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, at least 7 years' of experience, and an active CPA is preferred. Applicants for the VP of Tax role at the company should have a proven track record in tax management, with a focus on partnerships, and experience in a Big 4 or large CPA firm is also preferred. The role requires excellent research, writing, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion. Strong communication, organizational skills, and a high level of attention to detail are essential. The VP of Tax will be responsible for leading a team, so management experience is a key requirement. The position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's financial strategy and is suited to a dynamic and experienced tax professional.
