Float Phlebotomist

Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist II - Float at Ocala, FL! This is a 3+ months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment. Location: Ocala, FL 34481 Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts between 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM + rotational Saturdays Hours per Week: 40 hours Start Date: ASAP Pay Highlights: $22-24/hour (Based on years of experience) Note: 1. Candidate must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record. 2. Floaters are eligible to submit mileage for expense reimbursement. Key Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections accurately and safely. Collect and process clinical and forensic specimens following established procedures. Verify patient identity and demographic information prior to specimen collection. Ensure specimens are properly labeled and documented. Maintain required records and compliance documentation. Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and transport. Provide excellent customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality. Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment. Support multiple Quest Diagnostics locations as needed. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Experience 1–3 years of recent phlebotomy experience required. Experience with: Pediatric collections Geriatric collections Capillary collections Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible. *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
