Senior Business Analyst

Business Analyst We are looking to onboard a Business Analyst as soon as possible to support our Business Intelligence and Corporate Analytics team. In addition to the qualifications outlined in the attached job description, we are particularly interested in candidates with experience in: Data architecture and relational data models, including the ability to understand data relationships, dependencies, and KPI development. Power BI and dashboard/reporting solutions, with the ability to facilitate discussions with business stakeholders regarding reporting and visualization needs and translate those requirements into actionable deliverables. Data analysis and requirements gathering, including identifying potential data risks, impacts, dependencies, and data quality considerations during discovery and requirements activities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working at the intersection of business stakeholders, analytics teams, and technical resources. The Sr. Business Analyst partners with business leaders, process owners, project and program teams, and technology stakeholders to understand business needs, analyze complex problems, and translate them into actionable solutions. This role leads business analysis activities across initiatives of varying size and complexity, with a focus on improving business processes, enabling effective decision making, and ensuring investments deliver measurable business value. The Sr. Business Analyst serves as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, bringing structured analysis, critical thinking, facilitation, and problem-solving skills to ambiguous or complex business challenges. Essential Functions and Primary Duties

• Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to understand objectives, business needs, challenges, and opportunities.
• Lead discovery and analysis activities to define business problems, desired outcomes, success measures, and potential solutions.
• Lead current-state and future-state process analysis, identifying opportunities for simplification, standardization, automation, and improved business performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and prioritize detailed business and technical requirements.
• Develop deliverables including business requirements documentation, functional requirements, process maps, workflows, user stories, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
• Evaluate, design, and support implementation of solutions that improve operational efficiency, data management, client service, and business outcomes.
• Support the evaluation and selection of new technology solutions when appropriate, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
• Serve as a liaison between the business, technology, and project stakeholders to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements and capabilities.
• Partner closely with project and program managers throughout initiative lifecycles to ensure business analysis, requirements, process design, and stakeholder activities are appropriately planned and integrated into delivery.
• Assess impacts and dependencies associated with proposed changes across people, processes, and systems.
• Provide communication, training, and documentation for appropriate audiences to support successful adoption and implementation.
• Develop and deliver presentations to senior management, illustrating the business value of proposed solutions.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior business analysts and other team members.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies that may benefit the firm.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, consulting, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in leading complex IT projects and implementing business solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to think strategically.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Advanced knowledge of business process re-engineering, requirements gathering, and solution design.
• Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies and familiarity with project management tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work independently, manage multiple concurrent tasks and work with stakeholders possessing varied levels of technical knowledge.
